I am a longtime reader of the cards. My approach to reading combines an intuitive connection to the deck with compassionate consideration of your situation. I have great respect for the tarot's past, and in the midst of a reading might share a historical aside that feels pertinent. On the whole, however, I believe the cards are vital, filled with breath, and capable of a consciousness that can illuminate your life. I find the cards most useful in the discovery and exploration of new paths as you walk along your way. The cards are more than a divinatory system -- they offer advice and insight regarding new ways forward.
A reading is most useful if you are in a quandary, at a crossroads in your life, feel the need to discover hitherto unknown options, or are in need of a sympathetic sounding board during a difficult time. My goal as a reader is to be compassionate and helpful to you in whatever situation you are in while respecting the cards and the insights they offer. I prefer to work with as much detail and background as you are willing to share and will bring your information and what gifts I possess to the cards in order to discover what insights they offer.
A reading is often useful when one is feeling stuck or incapable of movement. The act of decision in something as simple as choosing to have a reading performed can lead to other positive changes in your life.
